FREE PLAY: Trans Pride Edition

Just because Pride Weekend is done; doesn’t mean the party is over. Join Trans:Thrive and San Francisco Community Health Center (formerly known as API Wellness), as we celebrate Pride month with our 6th FREE PLAY event and the first Trans/GNC only party to date. FREE PLAY: Trans Pride Edition will be held on July 5th from 7pm to 2am at Eros, located at 2051 Market St. SF, CA. This party is only for Trans/GNC folks. However our next FREE PLAY will be open to all (Cis folks must come with a Trans/GNC person) and will take place with a kinky twist the Friday after Folsom Street fair, October 4th. This is a free event for the Trans Community (A donation can be made when securing a ticket, but not required. Your donation helps to support future Free Play events.) For the Trans Pride Edition you must identify as transgender or gender non-conforming (GNC) in order to attend. Transgender is defined by you; non-binary gender identities are definitely included. We won’t be policing anyone's transness and we hope those in attendance aren't going to judge either. It doesn't matter where you are in your transition or what you have/or haven’t done medically, you are welcome to come to FREE PLAY.

Eros is a longstanding San Francisco sex club that has showers (towels provided), sauna and steam room on site. There is a play space on the second floor with various play spaces, bunks and even a sling. The upstairs is dimly lit with music and porn. Please note there are no private rooms. There is also a lounge and outdoor patio to socialize in. As well as a locker room to keep all your stuff while you play (lock provided). A photo ID is required for entry to Eros, please note the name on the ID does not need to match the name on the RSVP list. The ID is simply for making sure folks are over 18.

This party will be drug and alcohol free. Safer sex supplies will be provided, we hope to have all that you need onsite, but if you have particular items that you need please bring them. We will also include cavicide spray, so that you can disinfect any surfaces you will use. Free Play is a body positive, sex positive space that is open to all types.

EROS is across from Safeway supermarket, and between Church & Dolores Streets, two blocks from the Church Street MUNI station. BART riders can transfer to MUNI at the Civic Center station and exit at the Church street station.

Accessibility Info: There are four steps up to the entrance of Eros. Inside the club, the shower, steam room, sauna, and lounge are on the first floor. The play place is on the second floor, with 20 steps up. Be aware that there are no elevators or stair lifts at Eros. We will have a transport chair on site for assisting individuals who need help navigating stairs, please be aware that this transport chair would require individuals to transfer from their wheelchair to the transport chair. The first floor is fully lit, but the play space is a low light environment using red light and different colored rope lights. Our future events will rotate locations as to have more accessible spaces. While Eros is not a scent free space, we do ask that guests refrain from using non-essential scented products at Free Play.

January 24th, 2020 FREE PLAY: QTPoC Edition This is a free play party open to all Queer and/or Trans People of Color.
